I rented a room with these guys for a couple of years. During my time with them I found them to be very professional, friendly and quick to respond.Report
Every time there was any issues in the flat they always fixed things the same day on most occasions which was great! They used to have a guy come around once every month to check things and clean the property even though we were supposed to the clean the flat ourselves.
I had a problem with another tenant in the flat and the property manager visited the house and talked with him and me and sorted it out.
I had to move out becuase of a change in my job location. I would definitely recommend them if they have a room or property that you like.

We were provided with everything we needed, bed, chest of drawers, mirror, wardrobe, study table.
Whenever we had issues with hot water , cleaning , or heating or anything (it was maximum 2-3 times each during all our tenancy, mostly because we didn’t know how to regulate it), they always sent maintenance straight away, maximum next day, if it was weekend, on Monday someone definitely come.
Even if sometimes we had delays in payment because salary didn’t come on time, they never made an issue, never charged us extra money for that. During all cold months we used heating (only when being at home ofcourse), they never put any limitations on that.
I am thankful for comfortable and safe stay and peace of mind I had with this agency.
Also everything was as we agreed in the beginning: they said this amount of people is allowed to stay in the house, and they never took more tenants that allowed (unlike other agencies or landlords putting as much people as possible to make more profit), so everything was according to law.
We were sharing 2 toilets and 1 bathroom 5 people including us (unlike some places share 1 bathroom with toilet inside between 5-8 people).

Very poor customer service. In putting my offer forward, after a viewing I requested regular cleaning for a dump-flat with good potentials. For no specific reasons they rejected my offer which was asking price, nothing to be changed in the unit, no bc and a year length. Obviously myself being a professional. Just because of the extra cleaning I asked for. As soon as they feel one can be 'headache' just because can't accept effectively standard homeless conditions for cleanliness) they drop you. Very bad. We had a terrible terrible experience with Hunter and Bloomfield. I am quite late in writing this review but will never forget the traumatic experience with this agency.Report
1) Dirty public areas and we had to live with dirty people who would pee on the toilet seat and also the edges of the toilet had poo on it. Nobody cleaned it except for us.
2) We had asked for a one year contract with a 6 months break clause and the agent did not add it in the contract and unfortunately we signed it without double checking.
3) The agent never mentioned that the flat had a broken shower and the shower had extremely hot shower which was not working for 6 months before we moved in. After moving in, we found out the issue from other tenants and I was sending continuous emails to fix it as the shower was extremely burning hot and you could only stay in the shower for 1 second it would be cold and then suddenly change to extremely hot so you had to keep turning the shower off and on to get cold water for one second to wash your body. We used to have a shower in our workplace and gym because of this and the agents did not care for another 6 months after we moved in. We finally complained to the council who sent a warning and after which it was fixed.
4) We once got locked out of our place and called the emergency out of office, they were charging us £50.00 to just open the door and I begged them that due to the issues we have faced with no water for 6 months can we please not have to pay and they declined and charged us saying it’s on the contract. On the contract it’s mentioned that the tenant to get proper facilities as the rent was all bills included but nobody cared. We were bullied into paying that amount.
5) After all of the above, many tenants were moving out and the agency would only come to clean when a new tenant is moving in and to make the flat look sellable. The agency sent an email on the 17th of February 2023 to clean the common area which is living room and kitchen with attached pictures. The email mentioned to clear all things by Wednesday which is 23rd of February 2023 or else it will be removed and sent pictures of the public areas which did not mention the storage room and no pictures of the storage room were sent to instruct us to clean.
However, the agency came in on Tuesday, 21st of February put a page in everybody’s doors and removed everything.
They removed things kept in storage cabinets which they told us we could use as storage when we were moving in. The agency came in on the wrong day to clear out everything which is breaking and entering as they came on the wrong date and they THREW OUT all our bags and personal belongings kept in the storage room. We pointed it out and they only apologised and we had to fish out all of our staff from the local trash site to get our belongings back.
After all of the above they still increased our rent, did not care to give us anything or to do anything and we moved out after that. We had asked for a discount on our rent during the last month because of the huge issues listed above or give our £50.00 back as we were in our early 20’s so we would accept anything at the time and they refused and told us to leave the flat if you want any reductions.
My advise is please please please do not rent out from this agency. You will have a hell to go through. I leave negative reviews only if something bad has happened to me and I don’t want anybody else to experience the same. PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THIS AGENCY. I still have email proof of chasing for everything to be done with no response which I had submitted to the council. Do not believe this agency when they say they have satisfied tenants. I spoke to several tenants moving in and out and they all said the same that they had plenty of issues and it’s the worst agency to deal with. Many of them moved out in a month or few months.
